History of our bike festival

In 2002 we hosted Bike Summer in Portland, Oregon. We loved hosting bike events so much in the city that we kept the fun rolling the next year and called the festival Pedalpalooza. During the pandemic we shifted from hosting rides just a few weeks a summer to hosting rides all summer long, sparking our excitement to embrace the name BIKE SUMMER again!

We've seen an increase of communities in other cities wanting to host a festival of bike fun with rides hosted by community members. We're ready for Bike Summer to sweep the nation once again!
