Solidarity with Music Day (changed from Music Fest Day) | June 9th, 2020

Music as a Voice in Solidarity

This is a call to sing out against police brutality and the oppression of black bodies and minds. Music is a powerful tool for protest -- it can connect experiences and drive empathetic change.

Play songs of protest (live or recorded!) at a march, being sure to allow for space for the POC if you're in a crowd, or bike around throughout the day with visible signs of solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement affixed to you bike while sharing music. We recommend tuning in to Numberz 96.7 ( (radio station by black Portland) as you roll.
