Solidarity with Music Day (changed from Music Fest Day) | June 9th, 2020

Music as a Voice in Solidarity

This is a call to sing out against police brutality and the oppression of black bodies and minds. Music is a powerful tool for protest -- it can connect experiences and drive empathetic change.

Play songs of protest (live or recorded!) at a march, being sure to allow for space for the POC if you're in a crowd, or bike around throughout the day with visible signs of solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement affixed to you bike while sharing music. We recommend tuning in to Numberz 96.7 (thenumberz.fm) (radio station by black Portland) as you roll.
